INTRODUCTION

Laboratory of Nanomaterial and Technology is a key laboratory of Beijing Normal University. The laboratory is a part of College of Nuclear Science and Technology at Beijing Normal University, and also a part of  the Key Laboratory of Beam Technology and Material Modification of Ministry of Education. Our research is focused on Functional Thin Film Materials; One-dimension Nanomaterials; nanoparticles and Nanostructure assembly, Nano-devices (Including nano-detectors and nano-sensors) based on Nanomaterials; Surface Modification of Materials; Radiation Effect of Materials and so on. There are evident differences between Physical and chemical processes at the nanoscale and the macroscale due to the reducing dimension and size, which make nanomaterials have potential applications in the field of nano-electrical devices, Photo-electrical detector, mechanical and bi-sensors, microwave devices, solar cell and other fields. We studied nanoscale field electron emission materials for electron source and flat display device, developed nanostructured opto-electrical response materials for photo-detector,investigate nanocale catalyst materials for chemical engineering, and employed nanotechnology to develop new type nano-devices, carried out fundamental investigation on fabrication of hetero-nanostructure and electron transport in nanomaterials. Our lab works on the interdisciplinary field of materials science, physics, chemistry and electrical engineering.
